This happens all the time. You've folded and put away your laundry and there's one sock left over. You walk back to the dryer to see if it's on the floor. Not there. You check in and around the dryer and washer. It's not there either. Where is that other sock?
I have a strange theory about this. I thing ghosts take them. I imagine that when someone dies and they are a new ghost on the other side, they find a ghost school. All newbie ghosts must take classes like "haunting 101". This is so they can be a proper ghost and not give themselves completely away to the living. Probably one there first classes is stealing socks from the dryer and watch the fun as the living go crazy trying to find them. They have to swipe a specified number of socks before they move to the next lesson such as stealing pens, pencils, etc. Advanced ghost students learn to move your car keys so your late for work trying to find them. Finally they move on to apparitions and making those footstep noises when the living is in the other room.

My Son is a Teenager
Today is my son's 13th birthday. This is a day I've been dreading. I know how teens drive their parents insane. My brother and I did. My son is already difficult and I noticed he's been showing more attitude lately. I don't know how I'm going to handle him now that he's big and filled with hormones.
He's a new bike from his grandma and I got him his bike helmet and lock. I've baked him the cake that he likes. May this be a nice birthday for him.
